Lagos Demolishes Structures On Drainage Channel

The Lagos State Government has demolished structures blocking drainage channels in the Ikoyi part of the state. 

Spokesman for the state's Ministry of Environment and Water Resources, Kunle Adeshina, made this known on his X page on Tuesday. 

Sharing photos of the demolition, Adeshina wrote, "In the aftermath of an inspection tour last week by HC MOE&WR Tokunbo Wahab and state officials of structures and fences on the setback of Mojisola Onikoyi Shoreline collector drain, Ikoyi and serving of contravention notices which have since expired, the state, Tuesday, embarked upon the removal of the fences on the setback of the collector drain to allow access to the collector drain."
